Understand the journey first
A useful route plan starts with where people live, when their shifts begin and how they reach the pickup point. Review these inputs together before drawing a route. A convenient stop on a map may still be difficult to reach on foot.
Balance the operation
Compare travel time, vehicle capacity and arrival windows. Look at individual routes as well as the whole network: improving one route can create a longer connection or a tighter arrival window elsewhere.
Keep improving
Review actual trip times, occupancy and passenger feedback on a regular schedule. Use that information to identify a specific adjustment, test it and compare the result with the original plan.
